let's get to know each other
My name is Jaycee
I’m a photographer based in Lloydminster who loves capturing moments that feel real. I love the photos that show genuine emotions, whether that’s excitement, laughter, or a moment you’ll want to remember for years.

I started photography in October 2025 when my photography teacher noticed one of my assignments and asked if I wanted to train for Skills Alberta. I decided to take the opportunity, and after months of learning and practicing, I competed at the Provincial Competition in May and placed 4th. That experience helped me grow not only as a photographer but also as a person. I learned how to learn from my mistakes, keep improving, and move forward.
What made me fall in love with photography was the creativity behind it. I love that every shoot is different and that I get to create something new every time. Photography gives me a way to express my own style while capturing people and moments in a way that feels authentic.
My photography style is a mix of candid, creative, and posed images. I enjoy fun and energetic sessions where I can get to know my clients and make the experience comfortable. I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward, so I do my best to help people relax and feel like themselves. My goal is to create timeless photos that you can look back on and still feel connected to the moment.
Outside of photography, I enjoy playing softball, baking, cooking, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I was born in British Columbia but grew up in Lloydminster. I come from a family of four, and my little sister is my best friend.
I also work as a casual employee at Dr. Hemstock Heartstone Place, where I enjoy spending time with the residents and building connections with the people around me. I have always loved working with people, which is one of the reasons I hope to become a primary school teacher in the future while continuing to grow my photography business.
My favourite things to photograph are sports and concerts because I love capturing moments that happen quickly and naturally. One of my favourite photos I have taken was during the ACAC Men’s Lakeland College Championship when the winning team found out they had won. Capturing their real reactions and excitement is one of the reasons I love photography.
My goal is to continue improving my photography, start photographing weddings independently when I’m 18, eventually have my own studio, and explore getting into videography.
A few fun facts about me:
My favourite time to shoot is summer because I love golden hour lighting and how everything looks so green.
My go-to Starbucks order is an iced chai latte with vanilla cold foam.
I was a background character in a movie when I was younger!
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I’m excited to capture your memories and create photos that feel true to you.
